Brad Queck

President

Brad Queck has spent almost all his professional career in information technology, starting in 1983 when IBM launched their first personal computer. He started in consumer sales, then moved to focus on Fortune 500 companies in the 1990’s. In 2000, he co-founded the first IT managed services company in the Midwest, refining and delivering what was then known as “subscription computing”, growing that business to almost $5M in revenue over 13 years.

In 2013, Brad co-founded Virtual IT, a managed services and cybersecurity provider that serves clients in the Midwest. In 2021, he completed the purchase of the company from his partners and took the role of president. The company has developed a focus delivering fast, effective support directly to end-users and enjoys a very high-level of customer satisfaction. Virtual IT serves as the complete outsourced IT department for its clients.

Eric Queck

Vice President of Information Technology

Eric got his start in the IT field as an Intern for ConAgra Brands. During his internship he was able to rotate around different areas of IT. At the end of the internship he worked full time as a Business Systems Analyst implementing SAP at the manufacturing plants. After ConAgra, Eric went to Medical Solutions, a travel nurse staffing firm. He was the primary support contact for their 5 locations. During his tenure he helped implement automated user on-boarding, a Meraki network refresh, and on-boarding of their new locations in Florida. After that Eric accepted a position as the Director of IT for DRM Inc. It was his responsibility to oversee the entire IT team as well as plan and implement the new IT landscape for the company.

At Virtual IT, Eric is in charge of the IT Operations, overseeing the service desk and all aspects of project delivery. Eric has implemented project management strategies that are helping us constantly improve our service delivery and provide our clients with the world class service they expect from Virtual IT.

Mike McQueen

Client Chief Information Officer

Mike McQueen started working in the Information Technology field in 2011 as part of the Navy Reserve. During his eight years of service, he helped setup and secure mobile offices capable of transmitting mission critical data from anywhere in the world. In 2015, he earned an associate degree in Network Administration while providing support for the Papillion La Vista School District.

In 2016, Mike started working for a small Managed Service Provider in Omaha, focusing on managing and securing networks for Accounting Firms, Law Firms, and Surgical Centers. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity in 2017, and shortly afterward he joined Omaha Public Schools to provide their administration with IT support and guidance on complying with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Mike joined the Virtual IT team in January of 2021, and has helped build a security offering that provides a level of protection that few MSPs in the Midwest can match.
